How do I measure myself for a bra?
Start by wearing the bra you normally wear or a tank top with a built in bra in it. Use a soft measuring tape in front of a mirror and wrap the tape around your body under the bust line, making sure the measuring tape is straight across the back and horizontal with the floor. Ensure the tape is exactly where the crease under the breast tissue meets the ribcage. Next, pull the measuring tape taught and try to relax your shoulders while keeping your elbows in. This will determine your band size – if the number you measure is even then add 4 inches and if the number is odd, add 3 inches. For example: if you measure 32 in. then your band size is 36 and if you measure 39 in. then your band size is 42. Now, slide the measuring tape up across the fullest part of the bust and measure loosely without cutting into the breast tissue at all. Then count how many inches between the actual band size (after addition) and the actual cup measurement, each inch difference is one cup size. For example: If your band size if 36 and across the bust measures 41 you would wear a 36DD. If your band size is 42 and across the bust measures 50 you would wear a 42FF. See chart below for inches to cup sizes.

How should I wash my bras?
MyKarnation.com recommends to place your bras and intimate apparel in an mesh laundry bag and wash it in the washing machine on a delicate cycle using cold water only. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Next remove the bra and intimate apparel from the machine and the laundry bag and hang by both shoulder straps to air dry overnight. Do not put bras or intimate apparel in the dryer. Tip: If your bra is pre-formed, moulded, or padded we also advise against folding or turning one cup inside the other, try to keep both cups as rounded and properly shaped as possible at all times.
Why does my underwire in my bra poke out or break?
Reason: The band size is probably too large. If your band is moving around your body, this friction wears down the casing covering of your underwire and ultimately causes a hole for the wire to pop out or break. In a really bad fit, this hole can occur within a matter of hours. The fabric sewn over underwire inside a bra, called channeling, is sometimes made of cotton. Washing in hot water can shrink the channeling and force the underwire to pop out.
Solution: Try a smaller band size and a larger cup size (e.g. go from a 42E to a 40F) and see if your bra stays in place better. Never wash your lingerie or bras in hot water or put in a dryer.
Why is my underwire uncomfortable and pokes me under the arm?
Reason: The cup size is too small and places the underwire right on the tender breast tissue and too far forward on the body. The style of the bra is not providing a wide enough cup to support your breast, or the design of the bra is placing the cups too close together.
Solution: Try going up a cup size and see if the underwire fits more comfortably (e.g.: 36F to a 36FF). Or try a different style bra with fuller cup coverage and /or a larger center panel in front. A large-breasted woman can still experience poling on the sides, even in a bra that is the correct size. Therefore, she should look for a bra that has side support panels. These panels will push your breast tissue towards the front and away from under your arms.
Why does my underwire poke me in my armpit?
Reason: You might have a petite build and /or a short body frame or have breasts that are high-set on the rib cage. Petite women have this problem because average bras are not made for women with small body frames. Therefore, the underwire is too tall and pokes into their armpit
Solution: Consider a demi style bra, or a bra style with less cup coverage and thus shorter underwire. This shorter underwire should reduce poking. Also, consider petite bras.
Why does the underwire tip away from the body between the breasts?
Reason: The bra cups are not deep enough and/or the center panel is too narrow at its bottom. The underwire is not setting is the “breast crease” and therefore is not lying flat against the chest.
Solution: Try a larger cup size or select a bra with a different shaped center panel. The breasts may also be unusually wide and not rest in underwire well. Try a soft cup bra.

Why should I use a specific toy cleaner to clean my intimate massagers?
MyKarnation.com recommends using an anti-bacterial cleaner designed for intimate massagers to protect and prolong the life of the material without drying or deteriorating the product. Also, this cleaner is easy to use, and contains triclosan to kill harmful bacteria and rinses without leaving a residue.
When should I use a water based lubricant vs. a silicone based lubricant?
MyKarnation.com recommends water based lubricants for use with all intimate massage products because silicone lubricants break down silicone material over time. A silicone based lubricant is concentrated, long lasting and recommended for use in water. Silicone lubricants are also recommended for erotic massage instead of oil based lubricants.
